Mel Shore writes novels and the first series is called Deadly Obsessions. The first book in the series is Midnight Slasher, about a serial killer. He is a deadly assassin who has been hired by a mad scientist to kill a young blonde female. This is his story and this man didn't stand a chance of being normal due to his traumatic childhood. From a grandmother who was a religious fanatic to a father who was a perverted alcoholic his life was a living nightmare. He learned the thrill of killing in the armed forces but kept his perversions secret from everyone except for a few loyal followers who were terrified of him.
The second book in the series is called Red Can be Deadly because a mad scientist has an obsession with the color red. This mad scientist has delusions of replacing all humans with his own clones.He has found a way to alter DNA to eliminate all desire to succeed in life so that a clone is obient to his every command. The scientist has also found a way to elinimate all humans with a deadly gas that is odorless and tasteless. It's a race against time to stop his mad scheme for Alan and Joselyn, the young female that was supposed to die.
