Melshore Ltd was established as a
DBA in 1985 by Marilyn Melton. The original concept was to use the
DBA as a consulting firm for computer related subjects like database
programming and a general help desk. Since then, Ms. Melton has diversified
the company into several other entities to utilize her many abilities.
She is an established artist, a full charge bookkeeper, a database programmer,
a creator of designer dolls and has an Associate degree in web design.
This website is to showcase her latest endeavors as an author. Using the pen name Mel Shore, she has written a science fiction/thrilller series and these books are available at most online retailers. Coming soon is her next novel called The Victim, based on actual events.
Her children's books are written using the pen name Elayne Shore. The first book in the children's series is called Candy Girl, followed by a 4 book series called Kittens, Kittens and More Kittens. The current series is called Sammy the Sea Serpent with full color illustrations at the beginning of each chapter. All of the children's books are illustrated and most of the full color illustrations are done by Ms. Melton aka Elayne Shore. Some of the books published under Elayne Shore are picture books of some artistic skills including original art and designer dolls.

Marilyn Melton is also working on some non-fiction books like a course on how to become a published author. She also has some picture books to publish like a study in anatomy that was created for an art class in college.
